Written in Blood (Netherlands)
CD."Written in Blood"
Written in Blood the Dutch death metallers give us a fairly well-worked, solid and forceful sound, it also presents melodic sounds and of course they manage to amalgamate everything extreme with a melody that becomes such an exquisite and brutal sound at the same time. The self-titled album "Written in Blood" gives us nine songs, each one more brutal than the next one achieved in its gestation in December 2022, with a sound that I can recommend for all those lovers of the most classic sound of melodic death and great invoice when you manage to appreciate all this disc. If you are looking for some melodic death sound standard, here you will be able to find it and you will have added sounds as dark and abysmal as well as a misanthropy that is not disdained, making this whole album a sublime integral sound. Before I go I recommend songs like "Germánic" "Wilde Jacht" and "Return of the Ancient Gods" brutalities embodied in the audio of this great album recommended for deathlovers.

Desolate Fields, Dutch giving us post death black metal melodic since 2012. On October 1, 2016 was released its last long duration "Past Apocalyptic Dates". Begin the album with Ramblings of a Stone Man (Effort Part I) a brutal instrumental theme and then continue with the second part Stained Papers (Effort Part II) and you know what is the trend of the album themes like Enviro and Vultures, relaxing and extreme clean and guttural voices quite melody but in the same way always a lot of strength in each composition, make an amalgam between quieter and quieter sounds with the most extreme and rabid. They follow the disc with: A Visible Mass of Vapour the second instrumental of the disc and if in this musical proposal it is the music and what the protagonist transmits beyond letters and voices, they continue with Hollow Earth and Past Apocalyptic Dates. To close with the brutal: Blister. DF are: Martijn van Beek Bass Mark Havoc Drums Gerben Getkate Guitars Alex Weisbeek Guitars, Vocals Jochem Lodder Keyboards, Vocals It is impossible not to remember the Swedes Dark Tranquility when we listen to them as well as the Callenish Circle their compatriots among other death melodic bands. Holland continues to provide good death metal with melody.
