Flukt (Norway)

Flukt (Norway)

Flukt the Norwegian old school black metal band is sublime and brutal in turn amazing sound as aggressive as in the nineties when this whole movement arose. Incredible sound so powerful that it scrapes and breaks you. His album "Darkness Devour" suffering and a lot of passion, a damn feeling that will run through your veins, when you start to hear every note on this album, a sharp voice and always heartbreaking, strings with incredible pounding sound and a percussion that never rests and ends to give such a brutal tone. The band was launched during the fall of 2014 but from the dark mood and the aggression in the music, every metalhead will get a flashback to the good old days of Norwegian Black Metal in the 90´s. Eight songs that take you to the edge of the precipice and I would say that it is an album without any waste. I totally recommend them for fans of the genre.

Under The Oak (Norway)

Under the Oak (Norway)
Digipack “Ripped Up by the Roots”

The legendary sound of the Norwegian band Under the Oak is epic at times but above all it takes you to the old school of the most brutal styles of the style that are still present and do not die thanks to proposals like this. From Fredrikstad, Viken starting its movement as a band in 2017 formed by: Marius, Thomas, Jostein, Steinar; they offer us a very aggressive and forceful style but always without evading the notorious influence of the classical school of style. Their album “Ripped Up by the Roots” released on September 25, 2020 with the Record Label WormHoleDeath is the band’s only one to date and is a great letter of introduction. When reviewing the entire album you can recognize the influence of bands like Exciter, Sanctuary among others, 12 songs make up this great album and reviewing line by line is a band with a supreme and quite superior sound and the guitar solos surprise and how the bass is a sharp knife in each note, an insane percussion and great bill and its vocal register really reminds great glories of the time as (+ Warrel Dane) among others and reaching great notes of truth Complicated. The album is aimed at thrash fans but who enjoy the classic part of the genre, I totally recommend it to enjoy with a cold beer.

Daemoniac (Italy)

Daemoniac (Italy)

Daemoniac - Spawn Of The Fallen. If you tired of the modern polished and plastic and toothless “death metal” bands Daemoniac is what you need for! Starting their release “Spawn Of The Fallen” with short industrial intro they dive into devastation during next 40 minutes. It is great unholy old-school Death metal like Incantation, Asphyx, Morgoth and so on. Guitar work is full with tasty riffs, songs composed with fast and slow parts that divide this total madness on separate parts. Sound is very raw and rough but good listenable which makes atmosphere of release more primal and cruel. Drums are not modern plastic computer shit and sounds like ritual wardrums of hate! And the final point is for excellent low and powerful growling. In the middle of release another intro wait for us. Sounding like a soundtrack from 80’s horror movies with weird piano it gives us some rest. But after that massacre is going on! So expect no mercy from this release, Daemoniac know their job well!

Bottlekopf (Poland)

Bottlekopf (Poland)
Digipack "The Jokes are Over"

Katowice, Poland saw the rise of the Bottlekopf band with surprising courage and impact. Practitioners of a frontal death metal that gets to the point and leaves you breathless, this band originated in 2010 that has three albums to date and that has carved a niche in the European underground scene. They bring us the album "The Jokes are Over" of this year 2022, a great album of thirteen songs that drive you to madness same song after song drives a brutal impact on your brain when hearing each plate of this great album, this power Duo does not It lets us breathe and floods us with a very raw and violent death sound with basic and old school bases, always bordering on the most extreme. Marek and Marcin tear up the drums, the percussion is pounding and truly intimidating at times, the vocals are a great level of guttural, as well as sick riffing guitars and mind-blowing solos. I highly recommend this band to all death metal fans.

Higurd (Germany)

Higurd (Germany)

Higurd, direct and violent black metal, since 2010 destroying the universe with its music. Germany continues to provide metal in all its styles, the "Egozentrik" album was released in the year 2016 by Wolfmond Productions and 2018 by Narcoleptica Productions.
Higurd is: Nargathrond Guitars, Vocals Morbid Vocals The set of the disc is: Freiheit Jag känner mig hämma i dina ögon Minusmensch In meinem Tun der Teufel Entweiht Innere Unruhe Herz Du bist tot (Teil 2) I Am the Night. For lovers of the old black metal school and followers of basic and direct metal. Discography: Gedankensturm (Album, 2013); Totgeglaubt (EP, 2015) Egozentrik (Album2016/2018)
Egozentrik is from the beginning a real kick to your eggs, old school pure and hard no melody and no detour, direct and concrete proposal of black metal of race. Higurd is one of those bands that you will hate or love when listening for the first time, and his album is of that kind, a lot of power in sound and a voice that reminds us of the best version of Pest in Gorgoroth of yesteryear, true riff Black metal and a devastating battery. The album takes us through many passages where they go from the most extreme to the most dense and powerful becoming hymns of the afterlife. Recall that the label responsible for propagating this plague is Narcoleptica Productions that were really right to support these beasts of the genus. I do not make a breakdown of the album, song by song as I like to do because it is a material to listen on a single trip and describe it so a dark feeling, without removing the ears of the speaker, you should not stop listening to this complete rite, here I leave the set list to delight you: Freiheit Jag Känner Mig Hämma I Dina Ögon Minusmensch In Meinem Tun Der Teufel Entweiht Innere Unruhe Herz Du Bist Tot (Teil 2) I Am The Night German metal never disappoints me and these goats who have been together since 2010 show that they are here to stay in the darkest area of the metal, recommended.
