Trigonum Mortis (Czech Republic)

Trigonum Mortis (Czech Republic)
CD."Fall Into The Dark Age"

Black Death from the Czech Republic, a beast of a band that it is Trigonum Mortis Incredible from start to finish a band that walks through quite dark sounds as well as infernal, it handles within the sounds of death and black metal with great depth between theme and theme achieving that these are never monotonous. "Fall Into The Dark Age" Review the bestiality and genius of the sound that this band has experienced since its inception in 2019 and is to achiieve an excellent synergy between black metal and death metal highly for those faithful followers of the darkest genre. The voices never rest, some sick and bloody riffs at all times, a  drumming without mercy and an exemplary sound that surrounds you from the first moment the album starts, the album has attributes that catches you, this project makes it extremely interesting since you don't lose track of every aspect of the album, it's quite a journey from start to finish, recommended for those lovers of black and death metal but who aren't so true, but want something that goes beyond these huge and influential styles.

Solfernus (Czech Republic)

Solfernus (Czech Republic)

Solfernus “Neoantichrist”. What an awesome release! From the first track I understood what kind of material it will be! It is a sort of simple but powerful Blackened Metal which catches you from the first riff. Sometimes it’s a Black Metal blasting, sometimes it’s a pure Thrash attack, sometimes it’s a slow atmospheric grooving moment but always catching. Also, I should mention some interesting features as an acoustic flamenco guitar, atmospheric keys and guitar insertions and various vocals from clean to hysterical. Vocals has some unique Czech atmosphere, if you had heard at least Master’s Hammer or Root you know what I mean. By the way some musicians from Root are playing in SOLFERNUS. In conclusion, I recommend “Neoantichrist” to all fans of a good powerful Unholy Metal.

Panychida (Czech Republic)

Panychida (Czech Republic)

CD. “Grief for Idol” Finally this release will see the light on the Western Hemisphere!!! With already 2 demos, 2 dvds, 1 ep, and 2 albums released the band has struck with their most professional and most complex work!!! The album features bagpipes, choirs, clean vocals, and even a guest appearance from V ganor [of HELHEIM/TAAKE]!!! With mixtures of raw melodic death metal to black 'n' roll all on one album this is the bands strongest and most focused song writing to date along with their most powerful production to really make the material hit hard!!!!..., Panychida easily stakes their claim for their own brand of Pagan/Black Metal!!!! NOT TO BE MISSED!!! This is a split release with Werewolf Productions And Cursed Records.

Sekhmet (Czech Republic)

Sekhmet (Czech Republic)

Sekhmet - Spiritual Eclipse (2016) Though the band title came from Egyptian mythology the music is not similar to Nile (ha-ha). This band is from Czech Republic and for me it’s like the mark of quality. Starting from the intro full with industrial beats “Spiritual Eclipse” is drawing grim post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Other tracks make this atmosphere deeper and deeper with each track. Guitars sound morbid and sharp many tremolos and dissonance arpeggio could be discovered here. Some tracks make you flying over the decaying landscapes and some of them sound like eсstatic dance on the scorched earth Sabbath! And some separate words about vocal – it is amazing! It is grim sick and furious, sometimes changed into declaiming spoken word and sometimes sounding like lonely scream between dying worlds. Album ends with a cover on Marduk’s “Funeral Bitch” which sounds too calm after all previous tracks but gives some rest before you push on “repeat.” Definitely it’s a very good stuff!

InnerSphere (Czech Republic)

InnerSphere (Czech Republic)

InnerSphere  from Pilsen Czech Republic, we get the surprising and very brutal death metalheads. The disc that we break down below is "Amnesia", a true work dedicated to very technical death metal and with very melodic passages but without losing the bestiality in its sound. This album was recorded entirely in the studios "The Barn studio" with an impeccable and totally professional sound making it stand out in its sound as an excellent band. Mixed and materialized by "Dan Friml" well known in the extreme environment. A great record for that 2018 under (Metalgate Records) to help procreate this huge long duration. Songs like: "Tell Me", "Impure", "Asylum" are such cutting-edge themes that mix the most extreme with the most epic making you travel through music and making it an unparalleled experience, and a true work with the closing of the album " Deceased. " A battery that is very pronounced in all the sound of the album never fades, a voice that never rests or dies among so many brutal notes, and deadly strings both in the extreme crushing, as in the melodic, that make a conjunction as brutal as the atmosphere same of the band, making it unique and very different from the others. Highly recommended if you want a dose of brutal, but different, extreme and melodic death metal, with a journey beyond the extreme an overwhelming experience.

Degoryen (Czech Republic)

Degoryen (Czech Republic)

Degoryen Samorost is a Black metal band from Czech Republic singing in their native language. I have already mentioned that Czech has a very strong Black metal scene which was started by the great legendary band Master’s Hammer. So Degoryen with their debut full-length “Samorost” keeps these traditions and shows a powerful material. Mid-tempo Blackened metal with a pack of Death metal riffs and morbid grim vocal. From the first track Degoryen shows no mercy and beat you with a fierce guitar attack. Some tracks sounds like swords in battle and some throws you in the atmosphere of mystic forest sorcery. Anyway sound is not archaic. “Samorost” is sounding very clear and sharp with good balance between instruments that makes impression of “sound monolith.” IMHO the track before the last is to quiet but probably it’s done to contrast with the last one starting with the war sirens. So named “calm before the storm.” Anyway “Samorost” is a very good release and I hope Degoryen will show another good release in the nearest future.

Naurrakar (Czech Republic)

Naurrakar (Czech Republic)

Here we have a really cool & great black metal band coming from the Czech republic & it is all self released, but is alos a very professional first album production. It is a very good and positive thing for being a debut album. Ten tracks on it and the album comes with a eight gate pages booklet. Instead of doing a rating for each track here will I say & mention which ones I think is a bit extra outstanding and better in my personal opinion. The first track starts up slow & hammering and is not my top favorite, but a great introduction & song for the CD. The second track "Antihumanni Technologie Likvidace" is now a damn good one & have both fast, raw riffs and some very melodical parts. Third track "Epilog Lidstva" is even better & is really good track. I also must also add that here & there gives this band my thoughts/thinking of mexican black metal band Aspergar, the russian band Native in Black and even serbian black metal band Kolac when it comes to their sound. Even if I think Naurrakar is far much more colder and deeply dark atmospheric in their sound. Fifth one to go is "Ke Zdi" & is a really great tune, starts up pretty fast, melodic and have a stench of blackened thrash too in it, very good. Antoher favorite on the cd is "Galerie Silenstvi" that is the seventh one and probably my absolutely biggest favorite. It must be heard to be understanded I think. Ninth track "Bezcilnost" is very black, sounds even a bit more filthy than a couple of the first tracks, also a written masterpiece with lots of tempo variation. Last one "Pustina" is slow, melodic and is more like a outro, but a good one. Extra note for this album is that the band only sings in their own native language. I am personally used to hear lots of bands that sings like that and I have no problem. In fact sometimes I even think that bands that have their songs written & sung in their own native language can sound better. Last words to say  is that is if you really like it cold, raw, melodic and also with lots of blackened thrash tunes this is a black metal band for you. Naurrakar has some truly professional musicians and the singer have a real raucous, raspy voice that suits the band good. Naurrakar is with a 100% guarantee a band to count for in the future.
