Saint Petersburg, Russia, there begins the story of Hate Crime with a very apocalyptic soundtrack, making a homogeneous mix between death and black and all their related, a chaotic and very tormented sound very much in line with the current world situation. CD."Music About Death" a plate in its entirety that takes you from sadness to rage you go through the melodic and extreme to the most shocking, never leaving aside a very particular and original sound, a quite renewed musical proposal and different from that of extreme cut bands. I have been pleasantly surprised by the records recorded in Russian studios, they have come a long way in terms of the quality of their work and it is noticeable on this formidable record. 7 huge quality tracks from Dead "Raven" to "1984" and the "purge" no waste on any of them. "DimaDima" does an excellent job in charge of vocals and guitars, I was surprised by his guttural range varies but that makes him fit in an excellent way in each composition of each song. "A.V." he is a true percussion demon making each song move further by taking it through very technical and brutal passages not only choosing the blast beat path but also making changes and playing with the snare and cymbals. "Pavel" makes all this sound have all the necessary energy and strength that the bass provides in each composition, giving a concrete base to the entire album, making it a super solid material in each note played. Although I did not know their music, it seemed super familiar to me and I quickly adjusted to the sound that you wanted to vomit in your ears as soon as you heard them and was very satisfied for being a valuable material that comes from these distant lands of northern Europe where the flame of metal underground sohue alive. Do not lose hearing them.

Hate Crime (Russia)
Abigorum (Russia / Germany)
Abigorum (Russia / Germany)
Abigorum the black doom metal band arrives with a powerful album to say presents on the extreme world scene. "Exaltatus Mechanism" is the name of the Cd. of the natives of Russia and Germany. 2019 has been an excellent year for all this extreme global movement. The two Label Satanath Records / Death Portal Studio continue to make an excellent choice for their signings. Exaltatus Mechanism (2019) is a great album a very dark atmosphere since they link two of the blackest styles within the world of metal, the album has a sound quite solid and very well achieved in every aspect incredible the brutality of it but at its Once all the darkness it casts is a true journey into the infernal abyss. Themes after very dark and brutal themes make it an excellent album to enjoy.

Trond (Germany)
Trond (Germany)
Trond a true black metal band. The natives of Russia present us with a dry and destructive black without melodies or halftones within the genre. This is black straight to your head, penetrating your veins and ending all your being, seizing the little life you will have left after hearing this bestiality of disk. Willkommen Im Unheil is the name of the plaque of this same year in progress 2019 and it really is a trip to the abyss of the musical universe, truly dark pagan sad and stormy a true masterpiece. Sharp bass strings and excellent riffs guitars, as well as a battery that never slows down this frenetic journey to death itself. The voice is a separate class that describes with its tear the very death that persecutes you to do justice claiming your life. It really conveys the feeling that is the genre black and it can really be highly recommended, that if only for true followers of the genre, abstain who does not know well the monster called black metal.

Grimorium Verum (Russia)
Utburd (Russia)
Utburd on their release “The Horrors Untold” shows us a very good, frightening and mystic material which lies between Doom and Black metal and soaked with a morbid atmosphere of nightmares. Slow dissonant and slightly detuned distortion riffs mixed with clean arpeggios on guitar and piano, voice is changed from grim scream to growl, the whole sound of release is like funeral in cold rainy November day. Starting from the short introduction “The Horrors Untold” shows rather fast material but it becomes slower and slower with each track. And after the track “Pikman’s Triumph” sound becomes crawling and swallowing everything into darkness. Sometimes in fast moments Utburd slightly reminds me Lux Occulta for their mystic atmosphere, but sound is more sick and atmospheric. “The Horrors Untold” should be really good as a soundtrack for a good mystic horror movie or for a long and dark autumnal evening.
