Canadian band Hak-Ed Damm presents a powerful and intensive War Black Metal on their LP.Holocaust Over Dresden Need a comparison? They have a track with title “MG 42.” So the sound is very similar to machine gun cannonade that reminds me old Marduk. Except the track “Auschwitz-Birkenau” which is a short semi-acoustic rest before the second part of the fight. Naturally, some samples of war sounds could find here that making atmosphere of the album more convincing. The sound of fretless bass was surprising for me, but it’s didn't damage the whole atmosphere appears like a feature instead. Certainly “Holocaust Over Dresden “ is a good powerful LP, which I recommend to all fans of fast and devastating sort of Black Metal with military esthetics.

NordWitch - Mørk Profeti (2016) NordWitch plays a sort of modern mainstream metal with mixing of different genres. You can find here an old-school Death Metal riffs, some mid-tempo Swedish Black Metal stuff and very melodic almost classic Heavy Metal guitar leads. In general “Mørk Profeti” sounding very melodic but nothing outstanding though has a good guitar works. Also I don’t like vocal at all. It is a woman’s growling but the reason is not in a gender. It is not powerful and simply dull; probably it is because of mixing but voice didn’t remind me any witches… In conclusion: if you like different melodic stuff probably you will like “Mørk Profeti”; guitars are really good, but the whole release sounds slightly unsophisticated for me.

Sin Of God – Aenigmata (2016) We have here a good piece of Blasphemic Death Metal! I like it much more than one ‘bout guts and corpsefucking ha-ha. SIN OF GOD are playing groovy with thick double bas drumming, growling vocals and morbid guitar melodies which remind me INCANTATION and SINISTER. In general “Aenigmata” sounds very old-schoolish and has a big pack of thick guitar riffs. There are no any unnecessary experiments, any shitty stuff; this album is strong and solid like a monolith.
