Hyperborea these Bulgarians arrive without envying sounds to anyone. Brutality, charisma, presence and great as anyone. Direct and high-invoice technical dry death metal. Extreme professional sound and rosy perfection within the extreme, if I can describe these beasts, these musical animals. There is a lot of influence from the death and thrash of the early nineties, it is the old school but with a much more technical sound. "Umbra" is a technically very well-made album, almost perfect from start to finish. You can see that the technique is immense and the experience more than proven. Voices always rose a huge register in quality, very well worked strings and a, percussion that stands out in technique and almost millimeter precision between blow and blow, something that pleasantly surprises me. These types of gangs with such a long history but without due recognition, many times go so unnoticed and it is frustrating that they get lost in the middle of the great universe of gangs across the planet.
