Been hooked on this album ever since it reached my ears "Buried in the Past" a huge proposal from the Germans specifically from the Ingolstadt region Rotting Empire brutal and enormous, impressive and direct with nothing to leave out a huge piece of band. This band that started back in the year 2000 and that brings us this specific album presents us with death metal sounds as the main and most used base throughout the ten songs that make up this album, the melody is also present and it spins and also communing with a very good level Groove sound, in some nuances of the songs we can also hear some thrash but what was said above is what prevails in its final sound. I liked the art of the album quite, very old school but quite direct, this album was made in mid-2022 and really within this style and this underground scene we can say one of the most recommended albums to appreciate everything that was seen at the light that last year.I loved how the album closed songs like "Last Chapter" the power it presents is incredible and "Alive" is an enormous and brutal song and the enormous closing and scandalous perfection that it presents in "Journey Into the Past". Totally recommended.
