Syn Ze Șase Tri (Rumania)

Syn Ze Șase Tri (Rumania)
CD."Ultimu' lup"

Syn Ze Șase Tri is a Romanian symphonic black metal band formed in 2007 in Timișoara, Transylvania. Their music combines black metal with orchestral arrangements and elements of Romanian folklore and mythology. Their main themes are Romanian mythology, war, ancient Dacian warriors, and Transylvanian legends.8
The name "Syn Ze Șase Tri" roughly translates to "I am with the triple six." The band was founded by Alex "Corb" Mihai, guitarist, composer, and responsible for much of the orchestration. Corb also had ties to Negură Bunget, one of the most important Romanian extreme metal bands.
From their earliest work, Syn Ze Șase Tri developed an identity closely linked to the history and traditions of their country. The compositions tell stories of warriors, gods, sacrifices, battles, death, and ancient beliefs, with a strong Transylvanian atmosphere.
The band itself describes its concept as "Transylvanian Legends", also employing its own narrative centered around the character of Alastor. Their concerts incorporate a theatrical stage production inspired by these legends.
Musically, they feature aggressive black metal guitars, extreme vocals, keyboards, orchestrations, and occasionally traditional instruments such as bouzouki, mandolin, and pan flute. In "Sub semnul lupului", for example, guest string and wind musicians participated, considerably expanding the symphonic component.
The band's official discography includes these five studio albums.
"Între Două Lumi" (2011)
"Sub semnul lupului" (2012)
"Stăpîn peste stăpîni" (2015)
"Zăul Moș" (2017)
'Ultimu' lup" (2022)
"Între Două Lumi" was the debut full-length, released on April 1, 2011 by Code666 Records. It contains ten songs and lasts approximately 43 minutes;  Among his songs are “Ziua din urmă”, “A vieții roată” and “Între două lumi”.
"Sub semnul lupului" (2012) delved into the mythological and symphonic concept.  The album featured numerous guest musicians, including violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, and tuba.
"Zăul Moș" was released in (2017), also through Code666 Records.
Their most recent album is "Ultimu' lup" released in September (2022). It includes songs such as "Hâtri", "Din om neom", "În chip hain", "Blestem de fiară", "Ultimu' lup", and "Negru".
The most consistent member is Alex "Corb" Mihai, who has been with the band since 2007 and handles guitars, keyboards, orchestrations, and other instruments. Vocalists associated with different eras include Mihai "Lycan" Deliu and Andrei Salăgean; the lineup has also undergone numerous changes over the years.
Syn Ze Șase Tri occupies a unique place within Romanian black metal because, instead of simply reproducing the genre's traditional aesthetic, they built an identity around the mythology and historical imagery of Transylvania and Dacia. The result is atmospheric, epic, and theatrical black metal with a distinctly Romanian character.
