Rät King is a Polish heavy/speed metal band from Silesian Voivodeship, formed in late 2020. They are known for their two lead vocalists, grotesque lyrics, and an 80s vibe. The band's name, Rät King, is also a biological term for a rare phenomenon where rats' tails are bound together, often considered a bad omen in folklore. The band's music is original and defined by their unique style. CD."Rat City" is actually the title of an album (or digital release) by the Polish heavy/speed metal band Rät King active since around 2020. “We Are The Rät King” (2022 EP): Their debut EP featuring five tracks like “Race Has Just Begun” and “We Are The Rät King,” released via Jawbreaker Records. “Rat City” (2024 LP/digital album): A full-length release with a dozen tracks including the title track “Rat City,” “Enemy Of An Enemy,” “The Cat,” and more. Released in April 2024. Polish metal circles appreciate their authentic retro energy and craftsmanship. Additionally, they joined fellow heavy metal band Bladestorm for a 2025 tour around Poland and the Czech Republic called “Cities of Thunder.
Hardholz the German legends from Tambach-Dietharz, Thuringia, always ready for the truest metal. They bring us their album "Herzinfarkt" a piece faithful to its heaviest roots and brutal and loyal speeds as always a disc that from its beginning you can feel the great energy and fury they emit. I am surprised that an active band from 1984 to 1997 and then had a return in 2013 to the present is still so current and wasted no time or space between its other partner bands of the genre. If you see 2016 in the heavy under as this CD. "Herzinfarkt" stands out well and it pays quite well to listen to it completely. I recommend it from beginning to end each of its riffs and only long songs like old school hymns and a very legendary sound that really makes you live again the golden age of heavy and speed metal, set aside something else and a time to devote to this great album recommended.
This great compilation became a great and happy project full of a lot of talent by Withdraw, and totally wonderful, remember that it was made in February 2022, all this was carried out in Austria. The great musician and with enormous talent (Witege) managed to follow a song to create many versions in specific 8 incredible songs, where each theme surpasses the next and makes the experience of listening to this compilation truly rewarding. Each song presents its own interpretation of the main theme, with new variations, different lyrics in their entirety, in musical and vocal style changing certain things. Remember that it is not only the same song played in different styles, but there are eight independent songs that share the same musical structure. They totally reflected the identity of this great label and the cover is a true and great tribute to that great song, and to that excellent album. - They managed to design a coat of arms that is totally in line with the style and is special for this great moment. It should be noted that all the instruments, lyrics, voices, performances were by (Witege) who produced this by himself in his home studio in Vienna Austria between February and August of the year 2022, it was mastered by Rainer Wild in that same month of August, he was also in charge of the concept, the models and the design of it. All illustrations were by RWP. Remember that in this compilation we can get all styles of metal as well as some related (Black, Crust, Death, Grindcore, Metal Core, Hard Core, NuMetal, Power, Punk Rock). Totally recommended for metal lovers in general, do not miss this material.
Manuel: The name is origined by the
"supermarine Spitfire" which was an Hunting Aircraft from England
during the 2nd Worldwar. We were waching a ducumentary-movie about it and so we
said "YES! Thats it!" Our first name was "Stormblade" Sady,
we are not the only Metalband with this name. Check out the Greeks !!

What´s the current line-up
of the band?
Manuel: Me at the Drums, Rico plays guitar and
sings and Max replaces Michael (Dissident Agressor) on the Bass. Michael left
the band in August for a 5-Year-Study in Moldavia.

I listened to your first EP.
"Spitfire": great !! do you believe that you rescue the oldschool
thrash/speed metal from the 80´s?
Manuel: Noooo I don´t think so. There are a lot of
new "old" Bands in germany and Europe. That Movement is called
"the new Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM. Ok, I think that we are
part of it. But that doesn´t matter to us. We just do what we love. And this is
Speed Metal!

What are your influrences?
are you influrented by exodus?
Manuel: I think stuff like "bounded by
blood" is an Influrence to all Bands in the Speed/Thrash Scene. Period.
Just like "Kill em all" ... But there are Tons of good bands out
there. Not only in Thrash/speed. NWOBHM, Classic Power Metal like Running Wild,
True Metal and also Mr. Cash and all the good ol´ Rock´n Roll. All those who
have the Spirit, that we all love so much. For Rico, it´s especially Motörhead.
He is just the biggest Motörhead Fan that I know.

to? did those help you to play such powerful metal?
Manuel: Oh. That´s gonna be a 10-Pages-List.
hahahaha!! Like I said before... We just play that what we love. Passion and

reminds me a lot to "aces high" from iron maiden. what do you think?
Manuel: a little bit, Hahaha! We are all big Maiden
fans. I drawed the cover. We just wanted to do something that belongs to our
Song "Spitfire´s Down". So I started to catch some Inspirations and
good Ideas.

You have released your EP.
also on Tape via Urtod records. is that label still with you?
Manuel: That was just a deal for 100 Tapes. But
Igor form Urtod is a friend of us. So we will see what the future will bring...
We´re goint to release our First Full Lenght "Tectonical Power" which
includes 9 new Songs and a new recorded Version of "Lead me to thew
Sky" in late 2016. We´re already done with the recordings. You can get it
on CD and Vinyl. And maybe on Tape...
