Golgota cult soundtrack, a true procession to death is what comes to my mind when I hear the first notes of its long duration: "Skam" of the year 2019 is incredible the ferocity and the dark atmosphere that this band generates so easily . "Asked" "Skam" "Job" "Skuld" "vinterbarn" Some of the tracks that struck my attention when I first listened and were stumped by a sound so deep it can easily surround you. Instrumentally executed masterfully harrowing voices always coupled with epic choruses that feed the morbid sound in general achieving brutality to an incredible extent. If you like dark sounds and you are to experience I recommend it regardless of whether you like black or not, you can give an opportunity to delve into the underworld of this brutal band.
Carry The Torch excellent thrash death metal band of those that make you enter a frantic dance with the same death whom you will see from the front. The natives of Kalmar and Oland, Sweden sound like a cough a band with great experience, professional sound and great aptitude that is often decisive in this new world of the world metal scene. Onda Makter, from Sweden burst with all the
brutality possible, a real impact on your face without mercy or belief in
anything. From Karlskrona they bring us this huge album: “Mardrömmars Värsta
Mänsklighet”. Guitars with incredibly dark riffs and transmitting all possible
hate, then a battery at full speed never stop accelerating, and a voice that
invokes the darkness and a vomit of hatred to the whole world. A lot of
ambience and malefic sounds at the beginning of each song. The disc is divided

The
Swedish band Hexed comes to us with a melodic and quite progressive proposal,
with its female vocalist that really surprises us with its vocal record of
excellent size, and they know how to combine extreme choirs and choruses with
more melody but with masculine voices that really They give a touch of
sophistication in their music, remember that the Uppsala band formed since 2015
seeks to break into the market of its genre and are very well on track. Highly
recommended.
Burning
Darkness - The Angel Of Light (2017) Burning Darkness presents on their
full-length a good sort of melodic Black Metal. They don’t play melodic stuff
during the whole time of an album though their melodies are very interesting
and epic those remind me a German act DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT. There is lot of
evil crushing powerful riffing kind of NAGLFAR or WATAIN which gives necessary
fierce to music. In general guitars are very good and making evil weird
apocalyptic atmosphere without any keyboards. Tracks are fast with intensive drums
and some rhythmical breaks which make it more variable and interesting. And
strong screaming vocals with some growl additions are yelling over it. So “The
Angel Of Light” is powerful work definitely worth to pay attention on it.
Hexed was formed in 2015 by Lead-Vocalist Tina Gunnarsson and
Guitarist/backing-vocalist Stellan Gunnarsson in Uppsala, Sweden.
Both
of them played in several bands before and had an early history in the metal
scene and of music composing. Now they wanted to create and write music
together, something completely new. When the song writing started they knew
exactly what kind of sound and style they were aiming for. Since both of them
had the source of inspiration from bands such as Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory and
Pagans Mind,
they
knew that they wanted to create metal music with focus on strong and powerful
vocals combined with melodic guitars.
When
the songs and preproduction was done and when recordings was about to start
they had to find members who got the qualitys required to setup the band. The
driven Bass player Daniel Håkansson who played earlier in other metal bands
were chosen to take place along with the experienced musician Teddy Möller on
drums.
HEXED
was now formed and complete as a band. The debut single and first lyric video
“Dreams” was launched in the beginning of May 2016. Meanwhile the
album“Netherworld”was recorded and produced in 2017, HEXED released their
second official music video “Exhaling Life”. Both the song and video contains
amazing guest-vocals from Thomas Vikström-Therion, Candlemass and it is filmed
and produced by Magnus Ewald who also has made videos for bands like Liv Sin,
Crucified Barbara, Firespawn etc. The third single and lyric video Lightyears
was released in May 2017. The interest and response for HEXED after the early
releases was overwhelming and HEXED got several proposals to consider and are
now proud for the decision to sign with Thomas Hörnkvist at ViciSolum
Productions.
The
Swedish metal label has already several established bands in its row such as
Persefone, Loch Vostok, Poem.
In
the beginning of February 2018 HEXED also inked a deal with Lars F. Larsen and
Intromental Management who are located in Denmark.They have a solid base with
many talented and successful bands under their label.
Finally
HEXED debut album “Netherworld” was released worldwide March 30 -2018. Together
with the album, the opening track Obedience was released as a lyric video. This
video was filmed by Dennis Gunnarsson and edited and produced by Mattias Norén.
The full album contains 10 tracks, and in addition to Thomas Vikström's
involvement, you can also hear powerful guest-vocals from the amazing singer
Ronny Hemlin - Tad Morose on the last track "Remake My Soul".
The
Netherworld album is produced and recorded by Stellan at Blueflame and HEXED
Studios. All
the vocals are produced and recorded together with the
talented
Diztord at TB Music Productions.
The
album is mastered by Stellan and the mighty Jouni Niemi at Big Jambo Studios.
All the amazing cover-art for the single releases and for the album Netherworld
are made by the fantastic Mattias Norén at ProgArt Media who also made covers
for many amazing bands like Epica, Kamelot, Evergrey.
Phidion “The Throes of Scourge”. Coming from
Sweden showing their powerful Death / Thrash Metal approaching in their
thematic Life, Death, Metaphorical, Sci-Fi, Horror. Very competent this album
"The Throes of Scourge" excellent work of drums guitar very well
played and the bass completing its sonority giving all the weight to the songs.
The album opens with the track "Swarming Spectres" with riffs made to
beat head and soon it comes to all the brutality of the track, great works of
guitars, the other tracks of the album ... "Anthropophagus",
"Mother Pestilence" Lost Transmission, "Dereks Do not Run,"

Insomnia," Nackt und zerfleischt, "and closing the album" Insect

Songwriting (track 3). A Suécia mostra que não criam só bandas de death metal
tradicional, o Phidion é um exemplo de como misturar death thrash no melhor do
estilo.
Hyperion
was formed in 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden. The original vision was to create
melodic music rich in harmony that was also brutal and epic, thus in the
beginning Hyperion were inspired by many Swedish, primarily melodic, death metal
bands and still are to this day.
Later,
the band took a move towards Swedish and Norwegian black metal.
The
band released their demo in 2010. Hyperion is now officially signed to Black
Lion Records and released their debut album, ”Seraphical Euphony”, which
contains both new material and more professional re-recordings of the songs on
the demo "Blood of the Ancients".
